Its been a while, so I thought I would jump on and leave a little blog!
The summer holidays are officially over, and although I usually dread them, I know some parents can’t wait to spend 6 whole weeks playing in the garden with their little ones, but I tend to be the parent that breaks out in a sweat at the idea of trying to juggle childcare and things to do, but this time it actually flew by.
Archie – my little social butterfly spent the first 5 weeks at one of his favourite places, football camp……. Which I am surprised to say only got rained off twice.
Ronnie – who is slowly turning into a moody teenager ditched his glasses for some contact lenses and has now found a new boost of confidence which has also added to his time on the football pitch, where recently he got Man of The Match two weeks on the bounce!
Daisy – turned one! Can you believe that! And learnt to walk, so that’s a whole new level of keeping ME on my toes!
And finally we finished off the summer holidays with the last week being spent in Tenerife, which was lovely but absolutely exhausting.
We have now completed the first full week back at school and routine is back!
Today actually now feels like the first day into autumn, which is a time of year I am quite a fan off, chunky jumpers, boots and the leaves turning red and orange.
