As a Bid Coordinator for this technology based company you will be working in the Commercial Team and ensuring all bid and pricing requests are coordinated and responded to in a timely manner and managed through SalesForce. This Bid Coordinator position is a temporary role for 4 weeks, possibly longer.
This Bid / Pricing role has a variety of duties which will include:
Price all bid requests through the bid tool (salesforce) using internal price files/ pricing policy as guidance, keeping all parties updated at all times
Define and create efficient response / action process.
Monitor open bids via Salesforce, – run open bid reports, send reports to Distribution contacts and provide weekly status of bids (closed, won, ongoing).
Analyse historic bids to identify win ratios, areas of opportunity and optimal win discounts
Raise promotional action documents for won bids, ensuring they are approved and sent to customer promptly.
Raise monthly channel promotional action documents for all Business Units and ensure price files are updated on a monthly basis.
Ensure price files contain current product stocked by distribution, liaising with Business Managers and Business Analyst on a weekly basis
Keep Business Managers and Partner Account Managers updated on competitor channel activity to ensure prompt pricing action where necessary
Help execute and report on distribution / channel promotions from a pricing & ROI perspective
Proactively quote in line with business needs, for example, moving quotes to aged stock lines, or selecting “next best” options where appropriate
This is a busy role, to start ASAP, we are looking for candidates who have :
Strong analytical skills with an excellent working knowledge of MS Office including Excel
Excellent communication skills
Experience of working in a technology based organisation would be an advantage
Strong business acumen / commercial awareness
This is an office based role, Monday to Friday 9am – 5:30pm, good working environment, with car parking.
£12 – £12.50 per hour
