Today (Friday the 18th) is Drink Wine Day!   By no means are we suggesting we all crack open a bottle whilst sitting at our desks, but when the time is right, grab the corkscrew or twist the cap of your favourite bottle of wine and enjoy.

A little bit of trivia for you:

“the most expensive bottle of wine ever sold was a 1945 Domaine de la  Romanée-Conti for $558,000 in 2018.  Why was it so special?  There were only 600 bottles produced, it was also the last year the grapes were harvested from the winery’s older vines before younger ones were planted” *

I wonder if it’s been tasted yet?

Back to us and our tipples:

Jo loves a cold Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc

Hannah’s choice is a glass of fizz

Amanda’s go to is a Chablis and Richard, well most of the time he’s sharing a bottle with Amanda, so Chablis it is or an Argentinian Malbec with a juicy steak.

All of us at Peach like a glass of wine, and at Christmas we managed to enjoy a glass or two together whilst out for lunch.
